Player Management

Player management requires the game plugin. If the plugin is missing or disconnected, the page reports that no players are available.

Player lists

The Players page contains online and offline sections:

  • Online: live server snapshots with name, GUID, health, game mode and position.
  • Offline: records from the PlayerEntities save directory.

The list updates through SSE. The page does not redraw when nothing changed.

Common actions

Inventory

The inventory panel displays the current survival-mode inventory and allows editing slots.

When a player is in creative mode, the creative inventory is not a regular backpack. The panel hides the entire inventory card to avoid showing incomplete data. Switch back to survival mode and reopen the player details.

Offline players

Offline data comes from save files. Available actions include:

  • View name, GUID and last update time.
  • Edit basic attributes and spawn position.
  • View inventory contents.

Stop the instance or ensure the player is offline before editing saves directly.

Whitelist and permissions

  • The whitelist restricts who may join.
  • Game administrator rights map to in-game admin commands.
  • Panel account permissions and in-game permissions are independent.

Data source and troubleshooting

If the all-players list stays empty:

  1. Confirm the plugin is loaded (check the instance log).
  2. Confirm the instance is running.
  3. Confirm the server save directory contains PlayerEntities.
  4. Check the offline dir resolved line in the panel log for the actual path.

If the problem persists, open an issue on Gitee with panel logs and the instance directory layout.
